Ready for some food for thought?
Technology helps us achieve our goals but simultaneously it’s stopping us from achieving our goals.
We use the endless possibilities of technology to start our business, communicate with clients, market our product or personality. These technologies are truly gifts and things to be grateful for!
But on the flipside:
We use these technologies to waste hours/days of our time surfing random websites, checking social media & overconsuming too much information.
I truly believe many of us are technology addicts and it’s doing us more harm than good:
– lack of focus;
– stress (high cortisol levels).
It’s time we start taking control over the technology we use instead of it taking control of us.
I posted the above in a Facebook group last week and got some interesting reactions. I’ve occasionally written (productivity hacks) about the subject, and in the near future, I’ll be researching and writing more about how we (individuals and businesses) can develop skills to use technology to our advantage. The subject deserves the necessary attention because it influences our productivity, happiness, and relationships.
