”When a toddler learns to walk and falls down 50 times he never thinks to himself: maybe this isn’t for me!”
Research on the quality and quantity of practice
- If you practice the guitar for 10000 hours you will become a master guitarist.
- And if you paint for 10000 hours you will become a master painter.

Disidentify from our thoughts
I decided to learn to play the guitar at the age of 27. During my youth, I have always heard that my rhythm was bad and that instruments were nothing for me. I have played the piano for some years but never really persisted. I now believe that the true problem was a lack of focus and other priorities. But until far into my twenties I truly believed that this is something you have, or you don’t. I was aware of the limiting belief but was eager to persist.
